In Mexico, Easter is celebrated for two solid weeks. Schools and some businesses close. Every neighborhood has its own festivities surrounding local churches, and a major passion play at the Cathedral.  This year, Glorine helped create a new bicultural event at the Lake Chapala Society called the Easter Egg Hunt. This girl arrived early, dressed for the occasion and came ready to hunt.

We spent a few days in Guadalajara for shopping and an eye appointment for Larry (all is okay). Here is one of several upscale malls in the area, which had it all, but we didn't find anything we really needed.	We attended a Jazz concert at a local hotel/spa featuring a renowned trumped player, Cosimo Boni, from Italy. The event included food, drinks and 90 minutes of some great music.
One hundred kids, along with their parents, aunts,  and uncles came to check out this celebration. Events included bingo, coloring, bunny hop, and the Easter Egg Hunt.	Glorine got kids ready for the Bunny Hop. Music was played and when it stopped, they landed on a picture of a bunny. Next was the Hunt where kids ran throughout the campus. No eggs survived the hunt.
Some kids took in the beautiful gardens which includes the largest botanical garden along Lake Chapala and a pond with turtles and coy fish.	Open Circle featured Earth Day. It was held outside the campus along Lake Chapala. After the talk, we got trash bags and picked up liter along the shoreline.
We snapped this picture during Open Circle. While tranquil, we learned the runoff from the berry farmers are causing damage to the Lake.	With the snowbirds heading north for the summer, we now have time to catch up on some projects.  Here Glorine added embroidered flowers to this top.
While English movies are typical year round, we decided to use our new-found time to spend a Saturday at the movies. Recently, we saw Michael, The Devil Wears Prada 2, and Nuremberg.	Wayne and Maureen are on a cruise when we learned of a water leak throughout their home. Thanks to four gardeners and our handyman we swept and squeeged two inches of water in four hours.  Water was everywhere!!!  Glad we are not paying the water bill.
