Welcome to Roaming through Retirement. After two years of treatment and recovery, we are ready to head back to the lifestyle we loved, RVing in the summer months and wintering in Mexico. We used RV Trip Wizard to route our 15 week, 7,000 mile road trip from Houston to California, Arizona, Utah, South and North Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska and back to Houston in late July for Larry's 2nd anniversary of his stem cell transplant. There we will learn if Larry needs to follow up every three or six months. In August, we will fly to Ajijic for Fall and Winter.

Early April, we moved out of Houston's Halo House and back into the RV. An RV technician helped us get the RV roadworthy after sitting in storage for a year.	After four days driving through Texas and New Mexico, our first stop was in AZ with Nancy, who was married to Larry's cousin Dennis. Fun times reminiscing.
Then on to visit Larry's former assistant from St. Cloud Technical College. She is a snowbird living in Green Valley, AZ. We love the development she lives in.	We took a day trip to Sierra Vista for lunch with Diane, Larry's niece and husband Jeff. They have carved out a fantastic retirement lifestyle.
While in Sierra Vista, we visited Todd and Susan, friends from Ajijic. They had just returned from a four week tour of Italy, which we added to our bucket list.	On to Mesa where we spent time with Larry's cousin Darrell and wife Kathy. They are heading back to their summer home near Bend, OR. Great catching up!
Another snowbird friend, from Ajijic, Donna settled back in San Diego after her husband past. Her two sons live nearby, which works out perfectly for them.	As we were doing our RV trip plan, we found out that many Elks Clubs have a couple of RV spots in there parking lot, some with full hook up. Larry rejoined!
After 19 days on the road, we arrived at Carmen and Mike's place. Here we are attending a Legally Blond musical in nearby La Habra. What a fun time!	One weekend, Dakota (to the right) returned from college to join in this picture with Mike, Carmen, Tobie and Hunter. Another wonderful and sunny day in CA!
