Roaming through Retirement has been our mantra since retiring in 2007. Unfortunately, we took a detour in March of 2023 for Larry to have leukemia treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. In July of 2023, Larry had a Stem Cell Transplant (the only “cure” for his cancer) and has been on the road to recovery ever since. We have made tremendous progress to not only survive but thrive on this journey together.

We have documented our Houston Journey using Caring Bridge, and have gotten over 5,000 hits. We are so grateful for the many comments, prayers, and words of love and concern. We encourage you to continue checking us out on our road to full recovery. Hopefully, in June, we will transition back to our website. One day at a time and with your continued support and encouragement we look forward to Roaming through Retirement again.
