Sixteen years and still journaling our experiences in retirement. Here we are touring the ancient pyramids of Guachimontones, about two hours west of Ajijic. In its prime, an estimated 40,000 people called this area home for nearly 1,000 years, but abandoned it around 900 AD. It is another example of how impermanent and fragile life is and how important it is to make every moment count. We look forward to seeing what 2023 has in store for us.
