On the way back to our rental, we walked along the cobblestone streets and
enjoyed all the murals painted on private residents. Cool.

Our
rental is in this B&B, however; our unit is a one- bedroom, one-bath with a full
kitchen, dining and living room. It also comes with its own swimming pool. |

is the view inside our B&B. We hosted game night, which included Greek
Pistachio. This table played hand and foot. It was the boys
against the girls. |
After our phenomenal experience at Sun N Fun Resort in Florida, we decided to
make "fitness" our goal for the duration. This fully equipped gym cost us $15
US/month.

We hosted a Murder Mystery dinner night with friends Ron, Jean, Barbara,
Chris, Kay and Gary. It was set in the 1870 and they came dressed to
play. It was a hoot. |
Larry decided to celebrate his birthday with family. So we went out to Adelita's
for an evening of great food and dancing. Can you believe he is SEVENTY??? |

A couple of days later, Larry celebrated again with other friends who also
had January birthdays. We had live music that ended at senior
midnight--9:30 pm. |
Glorine decided to add to her venue of "fitness" and went for a three-hour hike
in the Sierra Madres Mountains north of Ajijic. This waterfall is a washout in the
summer. |

Ajijic was one of the 673 Sister Marches that were held around the world
with an estimated 5 million people. Speakers spoke of our solidarity with
our host country. |
We marched from the plaza down to the melacon where we lit candles and made
wishes for our daughters and granddaughters. It was a moving event! |

As we did last year, we made reservations for six for every Monday night at
Adelitas. Here we are hosting Chuck and Jean and their friends from
the states. |
One Saturday nights, Blue Jay Slim, our local blues singer, liven up the joint
with some great Blues along with some down home Rock N Roll. |

Dr. David Truly gave an update on "senior migration patterns". With baby
boomers recovering from the recession, he expects a lot more seniors coming to
Ajijic. |
Each month, the wealthy home owners of Ajijic open there doors for a sneak peek
of what's Behind the Walls "Home Tour". The money raised goes to charities. |

This idea of hosting Mondays out with friends is a hit. Here friends
Jim, Margo, Rose and Quinton joined us for an evening of great food,
conversation and dancing. |
Next
summer we will be attending both a Ressler and Barnhardt family reunion in
Bismarck, ND. Glorine had her friends at a print shop design and print this
6' banner. |
