November 2008
Getting ready for the BIG Adventure - Year Two in Mexico.

November was a blur--so therefore no web page for that month. It turned out to be a mad dash from Minnesota with a brief stop in Bismarck and back to Boise just in time to say hi to a few friends and neighbors, unpack the Saturn and pack the Jeep for our trip to down south. In all, we spent seven weeks in Boise during 2008. We did not plan it that way, but that is how it worked out. On our way to Mexico, we spent a week in Arizona spending time with Claudia and Lou in Laughlin, NV and their winter playground in Earp, CA and then caravanned to Dennis and Nancy's place outside of Tucson for Thanksgiving. We also spent a day sightseeing near Dennis and Nancy's. This place used to be a POW camp for Japanese officers during World War II (now a restaurant, saloon and hotel), where we stopped for drinks. While we don't have this month of "roaming" captured on our website, we are grateful for the time people took to be with us.
