This picture was taken on their patio overlooking Prior Lake. Let us know what you are up to by clicking on this email link Larry and Glorine.

Our first stop was with Larry's twin sister Lorraine in Dickinson. She retired in January, after many years with Job Service. | On to Bismarck and an evening with friends Betty and Dennis Steele. They soon will have five grandkids, which keeps them very busy.
Getting ready for a hand of Shanghai with Larry's sister Lillian. We are joined by Larry's sister-in-law Gloria and her husband Martin. | Randy and Marla brought her granddaughter from Wisconsin to visit for a week at their place west of Mandan. Can't quite believe that Randy is now a grandpa.
Glorine with her sister Marlene, brother Emanuel and sister-in-law Lorraine at their home in Mandan. | Glorine with Marlene, brother Ray and sister-in-law Ida at their home in South Mandan.
Larry with brother Jacob and Maryanne at Ben's place in Fargo. | We got to Minnesota in time to see Miss Clara graduating from kindergarten. Here she is posing by her locker. It was a grand event.
Here she is posing with her teacher, Ms. Monserud. | Chucky Cheese was a fine place to celebrate her accomplishments.
An evening of outdoor musical entertainment at a park in Shakopee got out some of Chase's wiggles. | We took Chase to swimming lessons, which is a great skill for those lucky enough to grow up on a lake.
Graduation doesn't mean learning is over. Here is Clara with her art teacher after finishing up a week of art class. | Prior Lake has a busy Parks and Recreation department. After music, hot dogs and games, Grandma Glorine got to play in the sand with Chase.
Grandpa Larry and Clara are racing in the back yard. Clara is taking after her Mom, she won the sprint. | An evening out with friends Gary and Kay Thompson catching up and reminiscing about Ajijic at their home on Lake Minnetonka.
The Splatter Sisters entertained us by singing 30 books in 30 minutes at a local library in New Market, Minnesota. Most of the libraries in the area had some type of entertainment to market their summer reading program. | Tim, Glorine's nephew and family joined us for an afternoon of floating in Candy Cove on Prior Lake.
Father's Day and what to get a pilot for a present--a remote controlled helicopter. | Clara's birthday has arrived and everyone is looking on as she opens the first of many presents.
The Mall of America is a fun place to spend one's birthday. Here Clara is showing Grandpa Larry the best way to enjoy the ride. | Clara and Chase were a hit with the other kids after 20 some rides together on the Bumper Cars. It was a riot watching them have sooo much fun together.
Clara's birthday party is a BIG hit for her and her friends. Here they are posing for this picture in their backyard. | The pinata is a tradition at all of Clara's birthday parties. Here is Chase with his turn at the bat. He is pretty intent to get those candies out.
The theme for Clara's birthday was Strawberry Shortcake and all the games and food center on that theme. Hmmm, was that cake good. | Time for more presents. What would a birthday be, if it were not for the gifts. Here friend are lined up to watch her open their present.
Denise after another busy day in dermatology. Thanks to her, we get most of our skin care issues taken care of while we are in Minnesota. | After an hour of care, we spent the evening at Minnesota's funniest water fall--Minnehaha Falls. Clara told us that.
We flew to Kentucky to spend a week with friends we made 40 years ago. Here we are with David and Diane, at their home in Richmond. | They are big Kentucky basketball fans. During the final game, Diane ordered this limited edition basketball--seven of 2012 balls made.
Glorine enjoyed riding David's newest toy, an Arctic Cat ATV. This thing is a treat to drive. | David and Diane took us on a drive through the country side. We stopped at this Amish farm and took a picture depicting their way of life. Interesting?
Here is where Larry started his career as a drafting instructor back in 1971. This campus is located on the outskirts of Lexington. | We spent a couple of days with Scott and Joy at their home in Frankfort. Scott and Larry met in graduate school at Eastern Kentucky University, both majoring in Educational Administration.
Back to Minnesota. Grandma Glorine and Clara are in an intense game of WII. And the winner is-- Miss Clara. | Here is the finished project that Larry designed and built during our three weeks in Minnesota--an irrigation pump house. |
